Why Didn't the Commander Tell Us He Was Splitting?

Joe Moore's political toad has spoken. Here's how Jimmy 'the plumber' Ginderske, also known as the city sticker scofflaw, summarizes last weeks meeting. A meeting where a lame-duck commander sat at a table knowing full well in a week he wasn't even going to be commander anymore.
From Jimmy's Urban Journal: ...>"The rants directed against the outgoing Police Commander and one Alderman were especially personal and tiresome. Blaming just two individuals for all that ails an economically diverse community, during the greatest financial crisis since the Great Depression, is so obviously absurd that it hardly merits further notice."
Rants? Didn't you get up and rant yourself, Jimmy-boy? Blame? Talk about BLAME. This hypocrite was blaming the community for not allowing him to bully a Boys and Girls Club into a new public community center.

How news is disseminated? And why did I have to find out from Second City Cop blog on Thursday we were getting a new commander? Why is it on Friday I slipped the beans to the residents of Rogers Park who don't read SCC blog?

This leads me to believe. Joe Moore gets his news from the blogs like everyone else around here.

Related: A blast from the past. Only Second City Cop blog and the 'Broken Heart' were the only one's reporting this commander change. March 13, 2008.

Have we seen the alderman or pals or business community promoting basketball leagues at Gale Park facility? Has there been a positive email blast encouraging participation or VOLUNTEERISM at the center? No, there seems to be a political boycott!

The article went further to state that those in favor and opposed to the BGC should 'work together'. So where's the freaking action? Words are easy, volunteerism takes action - not talk.

After an election, everyone is supposed to deal with the outcome and the winner, whose salary is paid by us, is supposed to work with ALL constituents and promote the neighborhood assets.

So, why aren't the dudes getting over to Sullivan and talking kids into spending their junk food money on an activity to work off that extra energy? Because they are holding a grudge the size of Texas, that's why. There are pout bubbles circling their heads like cartoon images.

Grow up. PS the new winter activities schedule for ALL ages is available.

We have a new battle of who's giving out the information in the ward.

Jimmy-boy is the newest information playa'.

I guess the glamor of my world traveling lifestyle has given Jimmy a new lease on life. And he wants a piece of the action.

To those who have asked. No, I'm not going to give Ginderske the satisfaction of linking his site up.

I'm waiting for Joe Moore to promote it - to prove this journal he is publishing is nothing more than another in a line of propaganda media tools for Joe Moore and his band of cronies to spread their falsehoods.

Still waiting for a response:

"For all of Ginderske's blathering about bringing RP a Boys & Girls Club, I have one burning question:
How many hours each week or month does Ginderske spend working with at-risk children, and in what capacity?"

"Hey Ginderske.,
How about an answer to Pearl's question?"

Yeah, Jimmy. Write us a story telling us how great you are.

Or maybe one of your highly paid writers, who no doubt are making a living wage/with full health benefits can do an interview with the new publisher?

Sounds to me like Joe and Jimmy have cooked up a half-baked plan to get Joey some publicity that doesn't:

a) Make fun of him

b) Quote the mayor making fun of him

c) Mention foie gras

d) Show his picture

e) Ask why his community remains in such trouble after 17 years of his "leadership"

So, I guess if even the mainstream media thinks you're a joke, you simply try to create your own media. This should be fun.

"Blaming just two individuals ... is so obviously absurd ... "

tip for Moore & apologists:

if you don't want to hear about crime between elections, you could start by not running for re-election on "crime is down"

if you don't want the blame, don't take the credit

Why didn't the Commander tell us he was leaving you ask? He probably didn't know. Most of the time the Commander doesn't have a clue. He's told that morning to go to the Superintendents office that day and that's when he get's the news. Case in point. This new Superintendent in his first purge, called one of the best Commanders in the Department and told him to be in his office at 0900hrs. The Commander wondered what he wanted but thought that perhaps he was being promoted. It never entered his mind that a demotion was on the way which is exactly what happened. He has since retired. A complete waste of a good man.In another instance a Commander was called downtown at 0900 hrs. He was told that he was now a Chief. But that's how it's usually done. At 0900 hrs. your a Commander. At 0901 your either promoted or out the door.

The plummer's coverage of the TIF meeting in Edgewater neglected to include mention of the "stop the lakefill" asshole who showed up because he wanted to harass one of the panelists who happened to be an employee of Friends of The Parks who was there to talk about TIF. The moderator from IV-IPO and the audience tried to stifle the nut-case but he just kept on with his "save our beaches" rant, taking the meeting off-topic for a good 15 minutes. What a jerk!

Jim Sinderske tries to lay the blame on RP crime on "the greatest financial crisis since the Great Depression?" What a joke. This current economic crisis fully exploded within the past 6-8 months. We've been in recession-like conditions for about a year. So how does Sinderske explain the high crime in RP over the past 17 years, waaaaay before the Great Depression Lite set in?

Say, Craig, speaking of William Randolph Ginderske, has anybody got a line on the non-profit application that he and Wee Wee applied for? Will their next non-profit venture be as disastrous as NHRP, their last one? (Hugh, you looking into that?) By the way, how green is it to kill trees for the sake of vanity publishing?
